Great hotel I stayed there before the Pandemic back in FEB 2020 and just a bit ago in JUL 2025. Nice people, kind of a classic feel to it, quiet, not a bunch of kids running around making noise, and in a nice area District 10 in Guatemala City. Close to Oakland Mall and Fontibon Plaza both are nice, fairly upscale malls within walking distance and a cute zoo not too far away

I choose this accomodation based on location, price point and that it offered ac in the room. The staff are polite and pleasent. The poor review is based on the on going renovations that result in loud noises from 9am. This was unexpected and a deciding factor not to extend my stay.. the food experience left a lot to be desired with plates with stains and tea that to be discarded as something was floating in it. This was brought to the staff attention who tried to recrify it but at that pojnt I wasnt comfortable continuing the meal. Front desk staff and bell man were kind enough to store my luggage as I couldnt bare the noise and checked out early to explore the city. I expected more and really surprised by this experience. Also you can hear everything so noise cancelling headphones are a must.
