Upon checking out, the reception staff has demanded I pay for my stay when I already made full prepayment to Expedia as he said there is no payment done. According to Expedia, they tried to contact the hotel to clarify but unable to get them. Despite this, Expedia still refunded me the amount I paid to Expedia which is still about Sgd20 shortfall from the amount I paid to the hotel due to foreign exchange differences. Thanks to Expedia for sorting out the refund promptly. For the hotel, I would not recommend to stay as there is no after service and the double payment issue is an unpleasant and troublesome experience.
