A very nice hotel with an amazing location and beautiful views. I took a room with the Basilica view, and I fell in love with that room. In the afternoon/night you could open the balcony’s doors and enjoy the view, the fresh air; and the many activities happening in the area. I am looking forward to repeat this wonderful stay.

Stayed over the weekend and I had fue best view… The balcony was super cool. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn’t like was the nosies you hear in the room by the door. I don’t know if it is the old wood BUT I couldn’t sleep my last nigh. Also they gave me a complemented bottle of wine BUT they couldn’t find something I could open it with 😂 other than this issues it is a nice hotel with great view to the church.

Hotel de la Paz offers the most ideal location. You are at the heart of Guanajuato and within walking distance to all the best restaurants, museums, bars, parks, and markets. The breakfast options and service are excellent! Our room was spacious, the shower water was hot and plentiful, and the daily maid service was appreciated. The hotel’s central location means it can be noisy at night with the singing, music playing, motorcycles revving their engines, and general revelry in the streets, but we just turned up our white noise app volume to drown it out. We loved Guanajuato and would again choose this hotel if we visit another time!
