“ The property was very nice overall. The main house featured 2 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and there was also a separate casita with its own bedroom and bathroom. While the rooms were comfortable and roomy, I didn’t love that the third bedroom was detached from the main house. The windows didn’t open, which made it harder to enjoy the surrounding nature — especially when monkeys were nearby. I appreciated that it was located in a gated community, which felt secure, but the 8-minute walk...

“This bungalow property is a must! It was adorable and the perfect space for two people! I was impressed with the cleanliness and everything was at our fingertips--pans, utensils, glasses, stove, refrigerator--we actually cooked breakfast daily. The host was a joy to communicate with--very attentive and so sweet. And if we had any needs during the day, an employee was onsite to help. The location was great, just a short walk into town. Two restaurants and a small grocery store were also minutes...

“When we arrived the host said he did not have our reservation. The gate was locked. The number on the listing was not an accurate number. It took messaging Expedia to get a new number and the owner did not answer that number. He did respond to Expedia and finally reached out on WhatsApp. They came and cleaned while we were waiting to enter. The pictures on the listing are from probably 10 years ago - the home needs some repairs and maintenance. Faucets are loose, no hot water in the downstairs...

“This home is heaven on earth! I have no complaints whatsoever. It was nice being outside of the hustle and bustle of Liberia, yet a 7 minute drive to the closest market. Lots of wildlife, beautiful horses and very friendly dogs that secure the property. The home itself was well maintained and had a cozy feel to it. I highly recommend this sanctuary if you’re in the Liberia area.”

“First off this property is NOT located near the beach club or the beach, it is a 20 minute walk to the beach club and a 15 minute walk to the beach. You will likely want to take a shuttle or drive to the beach club. ALSO, the beach club is NOT included, you must pay a $35 fee per person per day to use the beach club, also not disclosed in the listing. This is the reason I am giving this property a lower review.
