This is a great little hotel in the heart of a really fun part of the city. Leo was great and helped me out with everything I needed. They even shipped items back to me in the states when I forgot them in the room. Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff.

The staff was amazing and very attentive, goes out of their way to help you with anything. And the room and the view is beautiful. The walking distance from a few dining areas and bars is convenient and safe, but the staff and beauty of the hotel really made it a true 5 star stay for Guadalajara.

Excellent experience

Excellent staff, friendly, helpful, all so nice. We felt at home, we loved the hotel cat Buba and the grounds were so peaceful. Walking distance to the Main Street- many restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff took the time to give a detailed history of the property. Also, were able to provide excellent restaurant suggestions and activities. This was especially helpful as my Spanish speaking skills are about zero. Great location as well.

Lovely oasis

We were only there for one night but we loved the aesthetic and cleanliness. It truly felt like an oasis in the bustling city. The only bummer was that we were charged for breakfast and early checkin even though the rooms were clearly ready. Most properties of this level, in my experience, do not charge (especially for breakfast).

Enchanted place

We stayed in a room that was told by staff renovated. We had no phone in room to contact room service or any other amenities. But the staff were very generous and helpful with our needs. At night it rains but during day is nice and warm. The property was empty didn’t see to much guest felt like we had our place to ourselves.

Massage services provided by hotel are subpar. The individuals brought In, have rudimentary knowledge pertaining to massage, They rub oil onto the body, but to not understand how to work stress out of stiff muscles. I would suggest finding highly skilled massage therapists and charging more for the services.

Charming & Comfortable in the Heart of Guadalajara

I absolutely loved my stay at Villa Ganz Boutique Hotel! Located in the vibrant Chapultepec area, the hotel is perfectly situated—safe, walkable, and surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. What makes this place even more special is its history: originally a 1930s mansion, it was beautifully renovated into what is now the first boutique hotel in all of Guadalajara. The French-inspired charm and timeless elegance can be felt throughout the property. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We arrived early and were kindly allowed to check in ahead of time for a small fee. They even offered us coffee upon arrival—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for a warm and comfortable stay. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with a super comfy bed and pillows. I especially loved the French doors, which we left open to enjoy the fresh breeze. The courtyard is stunning, with a peaceful ambiance and a beautiful on-site restaurant perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A couple of minor notes: the bathroom lighting was a bit dim, which made it tricky for makeup application, and the shower design caused some water to spill onto the bathroom floor. That said, these were small inconveniences compared to the overall charm, comfort, and hospitality we experienced. Villa Ganz is a true gem—and a perfect choice for anyone visiting Guadalajara who appreciates history, style, and exceptional service.

This property is Beautiful, it’s a beautiful home remodeled into a small quite quaint Hotel, rooms are beautiful the patio in and outdoors are beautiful, you feel like you are at home. Let me tell you about the staff “Absolutely Amazing!” Armando, Ivan, Carlos, Leo all of the staff including the ones I can’t remember their names were GREAT! Luis Sioux Chef, wonderful. The food at the Hotel restaurant was GREAT! They were all soooo sweet, every evening we came back they would take the time to ask about our day, where did you go, did you have fun? My Husband and I would go up to our room and rest a bit, then come downstairs sit in the covered patio enjoy the weather and drink the best Margaritas, Ivan Carlos and Luis would come and chat with us and we would enjoy their company and kindness. We were there for 6 nights and not once were we disappointed. We would definitely recommend this Beautiful Hotel and the Amazing Staff! Thank you to all of you at Villa Ganz for making us feel so welcomed. Muchas Gracias

La remodelación de las áreas públicas del hotel realmente ha elevado la experiencia general; sin embargo, considero que sería ideal extender ese mismo nivel de renovación a las habitaciones. En cuanto al servicio, todos fueron muy amables y atentos, aunque hay oportunidades de mejora: una de las noches, al regresar de cenar, tuve que esperar alrededor de diez minutos para que abrieran la puerta, sin recibir respuesta al timbre, teléfono o mensaje. No fue un gran inconveniente, pero cuidando esos pequeños detalles podrían llevar la experiencia de sus huéspedes a un nivel aún más alto. Muchas gracias y regreso seguro.

It's an exceedingly beautiful space and very comfortable. We had a large, gorgeously decorated room that opened onto the beautiful patio. We love the staff, the breakfasts, the freshly-made margaritas in the evening. The Lebanese restaurant next door is excellent. The neighborhood is great for walking. My husband and I have stayed here twice. We highly, highly recommend it.
