A really nice stay.

All In all, it was a good stay. Staff were kind enough to find us a larger room. The first room was way too small for two large men. We were closed to the rooftop which was an added plus. The staff were good but Mich was awesome. She is a delight to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is located in a lively neighborhood with many restaurants bars cafes and is close to the historic sites and museums. It is close to Colonia Americana and Avenida Chapultepec and also Guadalajara Centro. Although there was a Kitchen on site, all foods purchases were through room service. It would have been a nice touch if we were able to grab a cup of coffee whenever we desired.

Sometimes life isn't perfect

I ended up leaving around 10-11 P.M. during my second night because of the excessive noise and Wi-Fi that was very poor, if it was even working. After notifying the staff that the internet did not work, I was told that I could switch rooms the next day to a room where the internet worked better. The staff held my luggage, and the switch was completed by early afternoon. Before I agreed to the switch, I made it clear to staff that I did not want a noisy room after they offered me one next to the lobby. Having no internet connection is favorable to being in a noisy environment. Well, they moved me into a room (internet didn’t work in that one either) that is right on the other side of a very loud bar (picture posted) that plays pounding bass into the early hours of the morning. I went back down and asked the staff to be moved back to a room that didn’t feel like I was inside of a nightclub. After they claimed this was not possible, I asked to be moved to the other Six Hotel property in El Centro that is a similar price. The staff said that only a manager would be able to facilitate such a change and I can speak to them at 10:00 in the morning. I contacted Hotels.com who spoke with the Six Hotel and received the same response as I did. The staff seemed surprised that I was checking out at 10:00 at night and said that Guadalajara is a noisy city and finding a quiet room isn’t going to be easy. I found a property that meets the criteria I seek in a hotel (Clean, Quiet, A/C, Wi-Fi

El estacionamiento está a una cuadra del hotel; el parque actualmente está en remodelación, pero seguro cuando esté listo será un lugar maravilloso cerca del hotel. El hotel es un lugar agradable y confortable; volvería a hospedarme ahí sin duda.

La atención de las recepcionistas fue excelente, en especial quien nos recibió en el turno de la mañana, igualmente la señora de la limpieza fue muy amable y atenta. El Hotel aunque pequeño, muy bien y cómodo, con buenas vías de acceso. Bien localizado. Volvería a hospedarme en ese hotel, si vuelvo a ir a Guadalajara.
