Very conveniently located hotel. Room was very nice and meticulously cleaned and fresh daily. The daily breakfast was a wonderful treat. The lush grounds had avocado trees and fruit trees. Beautiful property within easy safe walking distance to the malecón and restaurants.

I loved my stay at Plaza Chapala Hotel! The location is two blocks to the Malecon, the rooms are nice and the breakfast was wonderful. I loved the garden! I drank my coffee and read a book there every morning.

Small friendly hotel with super location. Near bus stop, taxi stand, lake, shopping, etc. If you stay here you don’t need to rent a car. Lovely rooms, super clean, nice breakfast included. You won’t regret your stay here!

Charming atmosphere, welcoming staff and unique! Furnishings and courtyard area were beautifully decorated. Stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our room. Very clean and daily delicious breakfast . We really enjoyed the traditional Mexican style of this hotel. The garden room was lovely with a terrace opening out to a beautiful green space. It felt very luxurious breakfast was included with our room. The plaza is right across the street. The town is very walkable. We would definitely come back.

No food or wine bottle permitted in room. The room was immediately behind area of check-in, so could hear all that noise. no outside window. Closet area smelled very moldy. That said it was a very good location and the breakfast was good and the room was clean.
