Lodging options in this area are limited, so we really appreciated the convenience of how close Kirkjufell Guesthouse is to key attractions. Having access to a kitchen and fresh coffee in the morning was also convenient and made our stay better. The beds are not the most comfortable, but we were so exhausted from sightseeing that it didn't impact our sleep at all. The location is beautiful and I appreciated having a deck and living room as well.

This is a nice facility conveniently located on the peninsula. The women who checked us in was extremely helpful - answering questions and even going over a map with me. We enjoyed the restaurant she recommended. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the mountains. There was a TV which was unusual in Iceland. The hot water was great and water pressure good. The bed was comfortable. Parking was fine. i recommend this facility
