“We stayed at the Karoo Art Hotel for one night on our way to Cape Town. It is a wonderfully restored hotel in keeping with its character. The bed was very comfortable and our room spacious. We had dinner and breakfast there and both were very good, we would definitely return if ever in South Africa. It was nice to safely be able to walk around the town.”

“We stayed very short time but it’s a wonderful place to stay! The host provided very warm welcome and were very friendly, assisted with some immediate needs we had, parking was behind gates, accommodation was simply wonderful and the property was quiet, charming and meticulously maintained. Didn’t get a chance to use amenities like outdoor gym and pool. Overall, we had very relaxing, enjoyful stay here during our road trip through garden route.”

“The staff and Patrick in particular were friendly insightful, and genuinely interested in us having a good stay at their facilities and the balance of the trip. The Location was very convenient. Breakfast was enjoyable. The facilities seemed secure. A very comfortable evening. We would stay here again.”

“Nunca me pude hospedar.

“Wonderful host who were very flexible with our late check in. The place is really comfortable and clean and tidy with lots of amenities. ”

“Most enjoyable stay. Hosts were amazing and very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast top quality. Really enjoyed the tour of the farm, it was the highlight of our holiday. We would highly recommend for a very relaxing stay.”

“Warm welcome to a lovely self catering unit. Well equipped and very neat and tidy. Johan (owner) provided all necessary info with regards to places to eat etc. Overall an amazing experience. Thank you.”

“Nice room and a very pleasant couple of nights - the owner was most helpful in providing advice and guidance of local restaurants and spots to visit. Highly recommended”

“Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt”

“Store værelser med fine faciliteter. Fantastisk udsigt. Ikke så hurtigt internet. Poolen trængte virkelig til lidt TLC.”

“It was serendipitous that I booked a stay at Mountain View Swellendam as I was looking for a place to stop about 6 hours west from Port Elizabeth. I saw nice pictures, a good rating, and a reasonable price. But WOW! First, incredible hospitality. We were greeted at the gate, shown our secure parking spot, then given a complete tour of our unit and directions around the grounds. Plus a recommendation for a restaurant for dinner that we followed and enjoyed. Also, a staff member stopped by to...
