We had a great apartment, clean, large and well equipped, with good decor. The bed was big and very comfortable. The location is great it's very easy to access the centre of Groningen with a short walk. My only criticism would be that it was very hot and it was hard to cool the room down. That said we were there during very hot weather. But all in all, a great place to stay.

Excellent hotel at dampsterdiep near pleasant restaurants, sufficient parking available. And walking distance to centre.

Lacking personal touch

We received written information saying the front desk would be staffed between 3 -5pm for check-in, it wasn’t which was disappointing. After waiting sometime we called the number on the door to be told what our room number was & key inside. Then told we could park on roadside out front of hotel for free, just text them car registration via WhatsApp. The room was adequate, electric fan quite noisy. Didn’t have a toaster. Similar places we’ve stayed provided at least a small milk, butter/jam, sugar & mini loaf of bread, this had nothing not even soap for showering.
