Convenient location

Very convenient for centre of town, 10 minutes walk. Whilst the hotel does not have a restaurant there are numerous restaurants/ cafes within easy reach. Secure car parking available. Most things of interest are walkable and the bus service is very good.The staff were very helpful both before and during our visit. Breakfast range was good and good quality. I would have liked a fridge in the room as outside temperatures were mid twenties celsius. The hotel itself is probably some 50 years old but has been well maintained and updated. Immediately outside the front of the hotel is the marina

The hotel is in good location at walking distance of city center and train station. It has good facilities ( maybe a safety box would be great and electricity connections at bedside table). Otherwise, the bed, pillows and furniture make the room very comfortable. And you have coffee and tea for free at the lobby. It was a very nice stay

Prima locatie, met parkeergarage, vlakbij het centrum. Kamer 121 is zeer ruim en rustig gelegen. Vriendelijk personeel. Marie Stella Maris toiletartikelen,bijzonder! De 20 euro pp voor het ontbijt vonden we het niet waard. Ontbijtruimte ongezellig. De buitenkant is niet bepaald uitnodigend.

Zentral gelegen, alle Ziele in der Innenstadt gut zu erreichen, der Parkservice in der Tiefgarage hat gut geklappt, sehr schöne komfortabele Zimmer. Ich war schon dreimal in diesem Hotel und werde immer wieder dieses Hotel buchen für einen Groningen-Aufenthalt.

Cute hotel. Very clean. We enjoyed the location ; not in the market but just a short walk and very quiet. 10minute walk to train station. Cute lobby with a small bar. Crisp white linen, nice bathroom with tub. Staff was very friendly. Coffee machine in lobby so you can enjoy coffee or cappuccino 24 hours. Didn’t eat at the restaurant as we wondered out if the hotel in the morning. Would definitely book again!

3 sterren hotel met 5 sterren service

We zijn al vaak in Groningen geweest maar dit was de eerste keer in het Flonk hotel. Het hotel ligt op ongeveer een kilometer van het station en 500 meter van het centrum. De lobby is ruim en licht met een atrium. De deluxe kamer was ruim en schoon met een grote nieuwe badkamer met ruim bad en aparte douchecabine. Heerlijk geslapen in het kingsize bed. Het ontbijt buffet was prima. De service van het vriendelijke personeel was bijzonder goed. De kamer was nog niet klaar voor ons, maar we kregen een drankje aangeboden ter compensatie. Onze reisgenoot werd ‘s nachts ziek en het personeel deed alles om ons te helpen (met name Loes). Het hotel was vol, dus we konden niet blijven. Zij hebben kamers geregeld in hotel Flonk Groningen Zuid en ook vervoer daar naartoe. Ook daar was de service buitengewoon goed. We komen zeker terug naar Flonk Groningen Centre!
