Fabulous property in a perfect location along the river! The Front Desk staff was very helpful. They were able to get us tickets for the Lucerne Music Festival and helped us with very good dinner reservations. The room was perfect, with a nice large balcony over looking the river. We will definitely stay here again.

Great location, good access to the town, trains and cable cars. We came in April so no queues. The view from our bedrooms was amazing. Breakfast was continental but also included egg, bacon etc I would stay again.

The Best Hotel

Of course there nicer and fancier hotels around the world but when everything together considered, this hotel is one of the best hotel experience one can get. Perfect location and the views, outstanding staff with excellent English proficiency, lovely outside jacuzzi and more. Hotel run by the 4th generation owner adding rich heritage is just an icing on the cake.

Go for the mountain view; if the weather is not cloudy the scenery would be incomparable and inexpressible. The staffs were so kind and willing to help us in every way. Also enjoyed whirlpool, spa, sauna and swimming pool. Deeply satisfied with the hotel - will give 11 out of 10 and recommend you to stay here if you were to stay in Grindelwald.

We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent and our room was nice. Corner room with beautiful views. Compared to other hotels that we stayed in during our visit to Switzerland, this hotel was well overpriced. The breakfast was good, but we did not enjoy the dinner that we ordered. Very expensive and not very good. I would not recommend this hotel.

Wow! What a property! My wife and I stayed at the Belvedere Swiss Quality Hotel on Oct. 16 for just one night in the “Classic - Double -or Twin Room, Balcony, Mountainview (Eiger), Air Condition” room. It was an amazing room with the best view from our balcony of the Eiger glacier and the town of Grindelwald! The front desk staff greeted us warmly and answered all of our questions about the hotel and the area. The hotel is walking distance from the train station which is also walking distance from all the shops in town. We supremely enjoyed their breakfast (which isn’t included with our stay but is extremely worth it) which had so many local options. Their wait staff was also so accommodating and pleasant. It is a higher priced hotel, but if it’s possible for you to afford this hotel, I promise that it is well worth the price! Do not hesitate to book it!

Reception is behind glass, like a bank teller. Valet failed to bring all bags to room. AC started weak, but did improve. An annoying fly greeted is in our room as we entered. Had to ask for housekeeping needs such as towels , tissue paper and shower gel. Inside jacuzzi in poor repair with missing jets. AMAZING view. Terrific breakfast staff. When arrived and asked valet for ice, he directed me to lake side bar (2-3 flights down from reception) Nice they provided complimentary transportation to restaurants off the premesus.
