Great good value hotel

Lovely hotel woth good staff, lovely breakfast, decently priced bar. Only quibbles were the uostairs squeaky floor everytime they moved and the light sensor in the bathroom.

Stay okay, room okay. Unfortunately, at breakfast, staff member taking breakfast order, too busy chatting with the only other occupied table as they seemed to be regular visitors. Not asked if we required more tea, still waiting for rest of breakfast which was ordered.

I had a room at the rear of the property which was very quiet. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom came with a lovely bath with shower over. Storage was plentiful with a wardrobe and 4 large drawers. You could hear the occupants of the adjoining room but it wasn't an issue. Parking is avaliable at the front/side and rear of the property. I have learned from experience not to park under the trees as you will return to find your car with bird droppings. I always stay here when visiting the town. The staff are all friendly, helpful and accommodating and they take an interest in what you have to say. I usually eat at least once whilst staying here and the meals are generous, tasty and, in my opinion, good value for money.

The room was very clean, although there were some mould areas around the shower in bathroom, that need attention. It was good for the price. We paid extra for breakfast at £12 but that was outstanding! We were in the annex which was a little out of the way but quiet if there are events on. The bathroom was spacious and overall very comfortable.

Went to see friends, the hotel rooms are tired. But very clean. Staff are lovely, friendly but not ott, chatty really nice. So forgive the tiredness, concentrate on the staff, and you won't be disappointed

A Very Pleasant Stay.

After a slight issue at check in which was quickly resolved by the very helpful and amusing Gareth, my daughter and I had a very pleasant stay at Millfields. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, and the coffee was excellent.

Great staff, food & service. Bit dated.

Staff, food & service all great. Pillows deceptively uncomfortable feel soft to touch but like a brick when you put your head on them. Smoking shelter needs roof felting as it’s like a sieve when it rains. Hotel nice but a bit dated.
