“Glykeria was truly a special place. We were greeted so warmly by Maria that we instantly felt welcome and at ease. She was incredibly thoughtful, having written down all the recommendations for us before our arrival and making sure that we have everything we needed.
The rooms at the hotel are cosy, the beds and pillows are very comfortable and the view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous.
The Glykeria restaurant is right across the street from the hotel serving delicious meals to any...

“I absolutely loved my stay here. The location is beautiful, nestled into the mountains and a short drive to Samaria Gorge and the White Mountains. There is an incredibly sweet local/rural vibe that feels very safe to walk around and see the local goats and sheep. The breakfast and meals here are incredible, some of the best meals I had in Crete. The rooms are basic but very clean.”

“The Monastery Estate is a beautifully restored family house in the tiny village of Moni, not far from Sougia and the sea. It's an incredibly peaceful, intimate place with comfortable, quirky, stylish rooms and large patios. The view over to the White Mountains is breathtaking and there is great hiking nearby. We were extremely well looked after by Katerina and Marianne - nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful with local suggestions. Highly recommended! ”
