Good sized rooms but hotel was slightly on the scruffy side. Pool was green and didn’t appear to be in use. Staff were very helpful. Location is ideal for visiting the USA Navy support base which is just over the road.

First of all. this is NOWHERE NEAR THE AIRPORT. We came in at almost midnight, couldn't reach the hotel to get the "24 hour shuttle" found out that the taxi ride there was 80 Euros and in the wrong direction from town. The only good thing about it was that the rooms were reasonably clean and there was a big breakfast that was included in the price. And wonder how many travelers were taken in by the name...

Over all stay was great. Good location, not far from base, dining, train station & shuttle service to base. Only thing I would recommend is to provide dish soap, a sponge or wash cloth & dish towel. This way guests don’t have to buy their own supplies.

I don't like the fact that upon check out I did not receive a hard copy of my final bill they said it would be emailed which I never received and I stayed one night but they charge my credit card for 2 nights! We arrive one hour after check-in was possible but the rooms where not ready. We were told to wait for 5 minutes but it took a whole hour. Had we been told that, we would have gone out for a walk in the area.

The property Was okay, but has a way to go to be associated with Marriott. Staff were courteous, but not overly friendly. Breakfast was adequate, but there was no diet sugar substitute. The American coffee was not good, and only offered on the weekend, not weekday. One day, I had a knock on the door, it was housekeeping, I asked them to com back later. They didn’t, when I returned later in the evening. I had to go to the front desk (because there was no answer to my call) to request toilet paper, & towels.
