What a gem of a place. The staff are top notch. Definitely need a car in this town. If you're looking for night life and action, this might not be the place; -- but if you're looking to hide out and rest, this might be it!

My wife and I were in Greenville for a federal trial which was a 4-minute walk from the hotel. Staff was great, hotel was very nice (quaint and slightly worn but well within what I would consider "character"), and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would have liked a workout room but we certainly enjoyed the breakfast, the terrace, and the proximity to the courthouse.

We loved the hotel. It is a very old converted public building but is very pretty and comfortable. Loved the southern charm of the hotel and the workers. We have already made plans to stay there again.
