The listing felt deceptive. This home, obviously redone fairly recently, was not as described. While the decor was lovely, most redone options were with the poorest quality. I actually could have dealt with most of the house like this, but the beds and towels should be where the money goes, even on a budget (the plastic cover on the bed makes for an uncomfortable and noisy sleep. There are mattress covers that work well and avoid this.).
Some parts of the house were clean, some were not. The floor was swept but not mopped, there were food particles in my coffee mug, the coffee maker itself was disgusting and obviously never cleaned, the bed spread looked brand new, though not washed (still had fold marks) and there was a soft spot in the floor by the bathroom that we were unsure if we would fall through. The driveway had lots of glass on it. The listing said 2 cars could fit but that is absolutely not true unless you had two very small cars and didn’t mind falling down a hill. On top of it all, the neighborhood was rough. People loitering outside at night, blaring music. We felt unsafe enough to leave after the first night and did not complete our stay. Unfortunately, location matters and for this reason alone, I would not recommend this stay.
As for logistics, we did feel that the company communicated well and were pleasant to deal with. We suggest clearer info on WiFi and the door lock should have come with the initial instructions.
