The property overall was very nice. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. My mom and I booked this hotel because it said it had a fitness center and we did not find out until getting to the property that the fitness center was closed for repair. If we would have known that prior we would have liked the option to stay at a hotel that offered a functional fitness center.

It was impossible to sleep due to noisy children running around and loud guests/visitors. There was loud music as well. Also, the mattresses in both beds were uncomfortable.

SO LOUD. NO SLEEP.

Was hardly able to get any sleep at all, as MANY of the rooms are against the highway and inadequately insulted. I was told all the king rooms are on this side. It was SO LOUD, and that was even after me downloading and playing a white noise app on high. Hotel management didn’t do anything either. They said there was nothing they could do because they were sold out. A property in this spot needs to be adequately insulated and prepared for sound, but it’s been this way for years if you look at the reviews. They simply don’t have the integrity to care. People come to hotels to do one thing, get sleep. Stay elsewhere.

Personal Stay at Latrobe Hampton Inn

My stay at this Hampton Inn in Latrobe, PA was overall pretty good. Service at the front desk was friendly and receptive and they made me feel welcomed. I wasn’t, however, too impressed with the room and a few other things. The bathroom for a one bed room and a couch was very small (too small) and the bathroom door came within inches of hitting the toilet! It just wasn’t comfortable for me being by myself and was too tight in the bathroom with no room to move around. There was also some cosmetic issues that I noticed like the bathtub with some noticeable rust, a door stopper hanging off from the closet door, and a chip on the same door. These issues need to be addressed. Additionally, there was a leak in the lobby seating area, but the staff was aware of it. It wasn’t too pleasant seeing a trash can sitting where you eat breakfast and intervals of water dripping down.

We stayed for 5 days. Placed in a room next to Rt 30. VERY NOISY. Could hear the woman next door when her phone rang and her conversation. During our stay we Never had the room cleaned or even trash emptied. When we checked in the registration employee stated our room would be cleaned every 2 days-Tuesday would be cleaning day. Upon our return Tuesday evening our room had not been serviced I called the Front Desk and informed them of the lack of service. They brought up some towels and noted the need for servicing the room. Upon our return Wednesday evening NO SERVICE! Our tiny trash cars were overflowing and we were out of toilet paper. I returned to the front desk and stated the problem of no room cleaning service AGAIN. They handed me a roll of toilet paper and stated it would be checked out. We have never had such poor service at a Hampton Inn Won’t be patronizing HI or Hilton again.
