“Nice style, comfy beds, but in a car park next to a busy road junction with a view of a concrete tower block. Close to Newbury high street is nice & pub looked nice. Sink wasn’t clean and there was a leak in the bathroom( with a puddle on the carpet outside the bathroom). To be fair the very lovely staff were keen to sort it out & apologetic, but I couldn’t be bothered with it during our brief stay, so left them to resolve it after. It was fine as basic cheap stay. Fluffy towels, nice shower,...

“We stayed for one night, in the luxe room, well maintained and spacious, soaking tub was lovely for the mrs,”

“Friendly reception and service. Room was non-smoking but one could notice it had been smoking before, every time at entering the room. Comfortable bed. It's clear the bathroom had been renovated, but why wasn't at least one hook installed to hang towel and/or clothes? Very frustrating, moreover as the (gliding) door wasn't of any help here either.”
