“Very friendly staff both at front desk and in the restaurant for breakfast.
But rooms don’t have A/C and with the heat wave it was surely missed!”

“The impression from the lobby/reception was worrying -- tatty carpet, dark, old-looking, and mismatched decor. But the rooms were comfortable and generally clean, though there was a bit of mould in the corner of the shower. The breakfast buffet was good, salmon-avo toast was very nice. The coffee was silly weak though, had to ask for a new pot. We had a pleasant stay but will probably try somewhere else next time.”

“Lovely hotel with beautiful views, very cosy, spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, and an amazing dinner.
My husband wanted to reserve a birthday cake, and the hotel went above and beyond by making me a beautiful cake, even though it wasn’t on the menu. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch.
The staff truly go the extra mile to make their guests feel special and ensure they have a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!”

“The Crown is a lovely historical building that has a fantastic pub and several rooms. The rooms are large and have comfy beds. The staff are particularly helpful, kind, patient and very accommodating. It is conveniently situated in the beautiful Cotswolds and there are bus stops in town that have buses to many other local villages. I would definitely come back!”
