Vacations Close To Great Wolf Lodge Water Park

We were out for 1 day and needed a clean comfortable room. The bed was huge and me and my wife slept like babies. The TV was also awesome as we had a wide selection of shows and channels to watch as we settled in. Kim was very sweet and got us checked in and in our room, super-fast. I would certainly go back.

The property and room was relatively clean and well maintained although not much has been done to upgrade this aging motel. The beds were comfortable and the price makes this a good deal if you are looking for a clean bed with no extra frills.

The water pressure is nonexistent. The sink water somehow flows backwards. The King bed is actually a queen. The rooms were a little dirty. Mainly some drink splash on the ac unit and dried “sea-men” on the seat next to the bed. There is no breakfast, just coffee. Also the AC unit shuts off every 5 minutes. It won’t let the room get colder than 77 degrees There is plenty of parking, the room does have a mini fridge, microwave, small tv, telephone, as well as providing 3 pillows, towels, soap, hand wash and shampoo.

We were not able to stay for our weekend as we had a family emergency. When my husband and I first got to the lodge we were hit with a strong smell of Marijuana. We sat in the office for about 20 minutes before someone came to help us. While we were waiting someone came into the office to grab ice. Which was fine since they were using a scoop and then they grabbed a chunkc of ice with their hand.Upon checking in we were not asked if we had a reservation. I asked about checking in early was told no as there wasnt a room ready. After about 5 minutes we were told there was a room ready and got checked in. Again we were not asked if we had a reservation as I tried to tell them we did. The lady at the front desk was already checking us in. After that was all said and done we were walking to out room and my husband asked me about the reservation and the prices we talked about it realized it wasnt correct. He went back to talk to them while I was in the room getting things settled. While he was in the office I was looking around the room and noticed how rundown it all looked. The towels were stained, the doors were dirty. The room looked as if they just quick but the room back together. Overall my husband and I will not be going back.

I overly enjoyed my stay as I do every time I book this beautiful property.
