“Lovely room, great breakfast and friendly, helpful owners.”

“Checked into Room one, nice view over quay but as soon as I lay on bed headboard collapsed, went to have shower and shower not working, was allowed to use bathroom down the hall but not ideal. No remote for TV so couldn’t use that either. Wanted to say good stay but very poor.”

“The property is quaint/unusual. Not easily seen from the road if arriving in the dark. Provisions given in the room and the landing were excellent and fabulous location for Stansted airport. However, on opening the front door noted that the hall carpet was slightly worn and the room allocated had a shower in the room rather than the bathroom. Otherwise very comfortable stay and would book again, but request a room with a definite bathroom.”

“The rooms/chalets are fairly new and everything was in good order. The shared patio is a nice idea as it gives you the opportunity to wander out with your coffee and slump in the fresh air, surrounded by plants. We arrived on e-bikes and there was an area of shingle in the garden outside the chalets which was the perfect size to put the bikes overnight, they could only be seen from the chalets. “Great breakfast”

“The bathroom was small and dirty with mould growing up the pipes behind the wc. The w.c. was filthy in the bowl. The stairs leading to the room - the Stour Room - were dusty with bitts all over The property looks lovely outside but i would not recommend it to anyone and i think you should visit this inn urgently. ”
