The bathroom was filthy with black mould marks and the Bathroom door was completely rotten. The walls were paper thin - I was kept awake until after midnight. I phoning reception 3 times to ask if the room next door could turn their television down which was blaring for hours. After the third phone call over 2 hours they eventually did at 10.30pm. “Avoid a room above the bar because of the noise. I think it must get its 3 star rating from the rooms in the new areas. The food was very mediocre. For food I would recommend The Fox Hole which is around a 5 minute walk. The setting saved my stay because it was lovely to sit by the river. The staff were very nice.”

“Stayed for one night for work. The general hotel is nice as was the breakfast and the gym facilities. Staff were helpful at check in and out. The rooms are very dated and in desperate need of a refresh. I over looked the middle of the hotel so it was noisy at night. Has a lot of potential with a bit of a refresh.”
