We knew ahead of time the pool was being repaired which was totally not a thing for us. The 2 reasons I went with 4 stars instead of 5 was simply because I could hear staff talking to one another behind the wall of the front desk and I waited for several minutes before I finally decided to try to kindly let them know I was there. It was quiet and there was no device (bell to ding) to alert them there was a guest. The service was great, though. They were very kind and helpful. The other reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was out of the control of the hotel staff, but the walls seem thin or the other guests were just extra loud. This is a typical thing in most hotels I've noticed so it wasn't surprising and it wouldn't stop me from booking here again.
