“Parking is very convenient and close to the village centre. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is very small and not what was advertised. It had a skylight but no windows. Towel warmer didn’t work. Breakfast hours were advertised for 9-10:30. When we arrived at 10 they told us breakfast was closed, but when I pointed out their own hours listed on the card, they did make us breakfast.”

“Property was nicely decorated and, whilst there is no reception, the instructions to gain access were easy and worked well. The continental breakfast in the room was lovely and well thought through although there was a lack of English Breakfast tea bags which I assume was just because they hadn’t been topped up. There is no parking at the accommodation but lots of parking in the town centre - it’s only a few minutes walk and I would recommend parking first and then walking to the property as...

Comfortable bed, quiet location, great access to walking trails and not too far into the town. Easy commute to Oxford, either park and ride or bus. Great facilities in the cottage.”

“I picked this property as we had tickets for a gig at the O2 Academy and wow, it could not have been any closer! Literally a 20 second walk across the road, which when the gig finished was amazing to be able to just fall straight into bed! The place itself is fine, could be better but as a one night stay it was perfectly adequate. The code for the door was emailed to me and worked perfectly, we had no issues. The showers are pretty rubbish (we had 2 rooms and both were the same), the shower...

“Rooms are modern and nice. The rest wasn’t great at all. Half of the breakfast items were ‘unavailable’, the beer garden outside is full of litter and there’s glasses on the wall that look like they’ve been there for months.”

“Sunny Nest is actually walking distance to the main area of Bourton-on-the-water. They have a farm with donkeys and goats, right out the back yard from the breakfast room. The owner lives on the lower level and has a nice display set up with Cotswold information brochures. There is parking on-site. Breakfast is excellent and the menu is varied. Aside from the usual English breakfast, you can get yogourt, fruit and other egg options and even smoked salmon. I would highly recommend Sunny Nest.”
