“Beautiful guest house …very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooms, lovely and clean, with mini bar …and they little details in the rooms like Disaronno liquor ….a little Italian restaurant situated downstairs. Maldon is a beautiful village, with little shops and restaurants just around the corner, I would also highly recommend Mrs Salisburys for food & service too which is just around the corner on the high street. Parking is also available. ”

“The welcome and the staff were excellent. Breakfast very good and massive. Appreciate it is a very old building that maintains its character but feel it needs some updating particularly the ensuite.”

“Expedia switched the date on my booking. Didn't reply to my email. Didn't help in any way. Expedia ripped me off. I will never use Expedia ever again.”

“The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!”

“Working stop for my colleague and myself. Rooms 11 and 14 in the annexe were lovely. Breakfast also very good. Highly recommend”
