Wonderful hotel and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. The breakfast was delicious and it wasn’t the usual buffett, they seat you down and there is breakfast menu, place the order and they make it fresh which was a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time. Thank you for making my stay a wonderful experience

Room good. Nice lighting. Unusual. Spacious plenty parking. Friendly but professional staff. Reasonable prices in bar for food and drinks. Food in eve reasonable. Good breakfast. Coffee good. Bed comfy. Gym rubbish but equipment they got in there I use and it works ok. Never seen a rower that had been in the bottom of the sea. My gloves were rusty when I got off the rower😆 So yes, a good hotel. It always surprises me how many hotels get the above wrong. One other thing to mention. The spa should be free to use for hotel guests, definitely. A £10 charge per hour is not really acceptable. I would stay there again without doubt.

Great stay, lovely hotel, friendly staff. But checking in is a pain, needs to be simplified. After driving all day had to input everything except my shoe size, which took ages.

I've been a regular business traveller at Orsett for the past 18 months. I think it offers very good quality and value for money, certainly when compared to the somewhat tired Premier Inn properties around Basildon that are generally more expensive. One area I've been less impressed with is the "buffet breakfast experiment" which has recently been introduced on certain days. It has a noticeable impact on the quality of the hot breakfast items, compared to the normal table services, so not a good idea in my opinion.

Fantastic Hotel

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Went to the spa on the first day with my daughters and it was a lovely experience. Used the relaxation room, swimming pool, sauna and steam and had back massage. We had an executive room that was clean, very large with great amenities. Restaurant meal was fabulous and the staff here are so friendly and helpful. Would definately come back.
