This is a hidden gem! I totally recommend staying here! The owner is wonderful and the small town has a cute ice cream shop, bar and The Gobbler restaurant!

The host couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. He changed my room in order for me to park and charge my boat. The room was clean AC worked fine. The beds weren't very comfortable, the toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle and the floors are very squeaky. Location was great to I75 and at least half a dozen lakes. Small town charm and safe.

The atmosphere of this little cozy room was so nice, I hate to give it such a poor review but as a motel/hotel you only have one job, to provide a bed to sleep in. That unfortunately is where this place failed miserably. The mattress was absolutely terrible. I rarely ever leave a poor review and I LOVE how they have fixed up this place. It was soooo cute and was nice and clean. But the mattress was absolutely unsleepable! Me and my wife are not the complaining type, so if you are reading this keep that in mind.

Nice place to stay!

Clean, friendly service. They offered snacks and water. It was a perfect place to stay for a fall color tour. We actually were able to see the northern lights from right the hotels back yard

Snowmobile trip!

This cute hotel was perfect, homey and very very clean. We will be staying again. We were much happier than a stay in Grayling at larger chain hotel that was disgustingly dirty and more expensive. Bob is an excellent host. Thanks Bob!
