Lovely old fashioned hotel. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good There was no lift but the staff did carry the bags up stairs. Only small negative was there were too many dos and don’ts notices in the room.

Även fast det var helg var jag på tjänsteuppdrag och hittade Grenna hotell. Fri parkering, frukost ingår, restaurang och bar på hotellet. Lät perfekt När jag checkade in fick jag reda på att parkeringen var på den kommunala gatan utanför med dess regler och naturligtvis i mån av plats. Fick även veta att restaurangen bara hade bokade tider och serverade enbart en trerätters fast meny för 695 kr ex dryck. Rummet jag fick var i annexet, fräscht rum, och i ett gammalt hus får man lyhördhet och dålig ventilation på köpet men som sagt relativt nyrenoverat och fräscht Frukosten serverades i huvudbyggnaden och på skyltar angavs att när det är obemannat fungerar rumsnyckeln till restaurangdörren på baksidan. Att frukosten serveras från 07,30 på helg är förståeligt. Jag tänkte att jag går in i hotellet och passar direkt när den öppnar så blir jag inte så sen till jobbet, men det gick inte. Nyckeln fungerade ej. Extra frustrerande var att hotellets gäster gick därinne och plockade för sig av frukosten. Rekordet var sista morgonen när någon glömde låsa upp och jag kom in först 07,45. När jag checkade ut så upplyste jag om problemet med nyckeln och fick svaret. Annexets nycklar passar inte till huvudbyggnaden !!! Natten söndag /måndag tillbringades på Grännagården där alla utlovade texter i hotellpresentationen uppfylldes bemannad reception, varierad kvällsmeny och fantastiskt bemötande

En pärla.

En mysig miljö med lugn och harmonisk atmosfär. Smakfull inredning. Vi bodde i annexet. Hög trappa upp till rummet som också var smakfullt möblerat. Det var ganska litet och det vi saknade var en vattenkokare med Nescafé och te samt en matta till toan så man inte skulle halka på golvet på väg ut fr duschen. Vi åt middagen där. Köttbullarna respektive rödbetsbiffarna med tillbehör. Vi var mycket nöjda med maten. Det enda negativa var ett snålt tilltaget vinglas med Amarone. Hallonglassen med limegrädde och kross var också en positiv upplevelse. Frukosten intogs med nöje. Fräscht, modernt och samtidigt traditionellt med ex en god äggröra och bacon. All personal som vi hade kontakt med var mycket vänliga.
