Nice old school hotel

Had a nice 1-night stay here, it's a nice traditional hotel which serves a superb breakfast. Our double room was large, with a huge bathroom. It was a little warm, but they can't control the weather! Recommended.

The room was huge and the beds were comfy. There were portable heaters (2) and fans (2) available in the room which was handy. The fans alone kept the room pleasantly cool at night. Plenty of parking. Restaurant had a good selection of food and the staff we came into contact with were super friendly! The jacuzzi wasn't working in our room at the time we stayed.

I cannot fault this hotel. We extended our stay from 7 to 10 days and next time we’re in Grangemouth, we’ll definitely stay at this hotel. Breakfast is excellent and was included in the price. All the staff from reception, waiting and the bar were very friendly and helpful. Internet is provided and is a very good speed. Our room was very large and spacious with a little lounge area for sitting. The bathroom had a separate shower and bath and was very spacious. Bed was massive and very comfortable

Its value for money if on a budget... the room and bed was small and tired... the energy saving light bulbs took 30 seconds to luminate a room and that's not ideal if you're in a rush.

Hotel was clean and the room was very spacious, we loved that. Check-in staff were friendly. Skipped breakfast based on restaurants staff night before, worst service experience. Had to flag down different people to get service, they only had 4 tables with customers. They had enough staff, they were busy hanging out at the bar or stepping out for a smoke, all in view of the customers. Food was good, service and attitude of servers were not.

Convenient is all I can say by way of positive. Tired is the best description of my room that I can muster... Tired is how I felt the morning after too. So uncomfortable... the springs in the bed got me good! My bathroom "corridor" was very un-appealing... as was the black mould in the shower grouting. There are Fabulous hotels out there... I've stayed at several... The Leapark is not one of them... I really don't get the ratings or reviews. I didn't venture into the main building... I was in a different building at the front of the property... I didn't eat there... I didn't drink there... Maybe that would have made me think it was all gorgeous... but somehow I doubt it. Been there... done it... and f there was no other local hotel available... I'd choose my car to sleep in!

Leapark Hotel - Boiler Issues

The Leapark Hotel is part of a larger hotel group, the room I was given was a generous size, clean. The issue that I had with my stay was the heating system didnt appear to work very well to the point that the first night the bed appeared to be very cold almost to the point of being damp. The next night the heating was not working at all in the room, when speaking to the reception I was offered another room but the heating was not working there either and there was no hot water coming from the taps. I tried to point out that it appeared to be a boiler issue with no hot water and none of the radiators working even in the public areas but the reception failed to grasp this. The radiators in the room were luke warm at best and I had to use a Electric Radiator to help warm the room. On a positive not the Restaurant Staff were all very helpful and the food was good.

My friend and I had an amazing stay. Nothing was too trouble and all staff very friendly. On Sunday we arrived in the restaurant just after the kitchen had closed but when I said I was a diabetic, they instantly found us a table and couldn't be more helpful and kind. The food is also excellent. We hope to go back as such good value too. Love it!!

Fantastic wee hotel with friendly staff

Single night stay for a concert at Falkirk Stadium (Exec Twin Room). Room was clean and tidy, if a little dated. TV worked and shower was piping hot as well :-) We had a bar meal before heading to the concert and it was really good, and the staff were very understanding of my other half's allergies. Breakfast was buffet but very good as well. Would definitely go back again.
