The Location is excellent, the golf courses, the personnel, water sports, etc. The hotel needs a bit more of maintenance (tennis court, some furnitures, etc). But in all, we were extremely happy to be there! We will be back!

Beautiful resort and the staff was lovely. However, leaving the windows open invited mosques and lizards all over the house. I would recommend window netting panels to prevent this. Also dishwashing soap in the kitchen to clean utensils and handwashing soap. Otherwise, I would definitely visit the resort again. The view was breathtaking and the staff went above and beyond for the guests.

Considering the place wasn’t busy I felt the service and quality was lacking. If you like raw omelette every morning and raw prawns served to you and for the staff to say it’s meant to be like that then this is the place to go, also sharp bit of plastic in the cake! Staff just ignore you at breakfast stations, this was all on my first day which totally put me off! I got sick from the raw prawn, vomiting, dizziness and stomach aches all night and I just wanted to go home. I was so so disappointed, I came here because I always wanted to stay at Anahita and also seeing all the good reviews but although the place is beautiful I was left so disappointed. Staff offered me just a lemongrass tea for giving me food poisoning, sofa, cushions and curtains was so dirty but they did change and clean them when I asked but I would think for a 5 star resort these things would not happen. You have to call a golf buggy every time you need to go anywhere around the resort, resort far from any town, you would need a car to get around. Its such a shame as otherwise the resort is beautiful and food on other occasions were nice but not spectacular but my bad first night has overshadowed everything else.

Je tiens à exprimer ma profonde insatisfaction quant aux conditions de ce séjour, lesquelles sont manifestement non conformes à la prestation vendue et aux standards annoncés, tant sur le plan contractuel que sanitaire. En effet, plusieurs manquements graves ont été constatés : • Non-conformité manifeste avec les photos et descriptions commerciales : les villas sont vétustes, mal entretenues et très éloignées du standing annoncé. • Défaut d’entretien et de propreté : le nettoyage quotidien est bâclé. Malgré les interventions du personnel, la villa restait systématiquement sale. • Défaillance globale du service de restauration : nous avons été très mal servis dans l’ensemble des restaurants du resort. • Conditions d’hygiène inacceptables dans le restaurant buffet : • tables et chaises sales, jamais nettoyées, • personnel manifestement non formé et incompétent, • présence d’insectes (fourmis) directement sur les aliments et les tables. • Atteinte grave à la santé : dès notre arrivée, nous avons été victimes d’une intoxication alimentaire, nécessitant l’intervention d’un médecin directement dans la villa. Das Personal ist immer sehr hilfreich und sympathisch, wie auf Mauritius generell. Manchmal ist es ein bisschen Chaotisch aber es liegt daran dass es Personalmangel gibt. Das Zimmer sollte ein bisschen aufgefrischt werden, alles ist ziemlich in die Jahren gekommen und entspricht nicht mehr dem Standard eines 5 Sterne Hotels. Ansonsten ist das Essen gut, das Buffet sollte ein bisschen abwechslungsreicher sein. Der Strand direkt am Hotel ist nicht schön aber dafür gibt es auf der Ile aux Cerfs einen Strand der zum Hotel gehört, dort ist es top! Es bleibt abzuwarten ob Sunlife nach der Übernahme die notwendigen Investitionen und Maßnahmen einleitet um das Ganze wieder auf das 5 Sterne Niveau zu heben das man in dieser Preiskategorie erwarten darf. Das Hotel bleibt trotzdem eine schöne Golf Destination.
