We went during summer during peak humidity and although the AC worked, our room did feel very damp. The amenities are a bit older so working the shower was also a bit of a struggle. The place is as pictured, except the rooms are a lot smaller and not noise proof. Overall, it’s a cute and convenient place but definitely not handicap friendly as there are no elevators. Only stairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

The pool was green :(
Everything else was 100% on point. Cleaning staff was wonderful but the best part, by a long shot, was the front desk staff, especially Elaine! What a wonderful hostess. Helpful but not overbearing. Very hospitable and so funny.
Great experience. I will definitely come back to.The Chateau, hopefully pool will be working by then!

I loved the location. We were very tired from flying but Jackson Square was very close and an easy landmark for finding restaurants.
