Great place to stay if you need to stay in the park. The room itself is a bit dated, and the bathroom lights are very dim. Although we booked a room with 2 queens, it appears they are actually full size (doubles). Price was a little pricey for what you get, but that was to be expected when staying inside the park. Staff was very friendly and informative.

I am disappointed that no one informed me that the dining facility was closed. Made finding healthy options hard. Also, no microwave in room was inconvenient especially without the dining room.

Very nice lodge and very close to South entrance visitor center. Room was clean, comfy beds..we enjoyed our stay. Lodge’s tavern had decent food options plus close to village market shop. Overall very convenient location wise. Staffs were very responsive too.

It was in the park. However the rooms are not near enough to the restaurant or shops to walk. We had to drive a short distance. However the room was large and comfortable.

The Yavapai Lodge is pricey, but it is comfortable and the convenience of staying in the park is a major benefit. We loved that we could walk and shuttle everywhere that we wanted to go.
