I am honestly surprised that this property is AAA approved and part of the Wyndham chain. The lobby had a horrible smell to it. As I was checking in the gentleman had no idea of the type of room I was in. Luckily it was the correct size. Upon entering the room, the microwave had a big gash in the door. The restroom door didn't lock. We pulled out the hide-a-bed from the couch and the sheets were dirty. I went to the lobby to ask for clean sheets and the gentleman insisted they do not provide sheet for the couch. Then he went on to blame the cleaning staff. This location needs a LOT of upgrades. They did provide a contention breakfast. As I mentioned the lobby had an odor, so I skipped on the cereal and toast.

This property needs serious repairs. Our room was in a dark corner behind the stairs and laundry. The bathroom was beyond tiny, the walls were extremely dusty, the TV didn't work and the beds were older than me. We called the front desk and they said they would send someone to look and we were there 2 nights and never saw anyone come check out the room.

It was exactly what we needed: a clean place to sleep while we were in town to visit the Grand Canyon. Only two disappointments were that we expected to have a microwave and there wasn't one, and that the breakfast was underwhelming. The coffee from the machine was surprisingly good, and the Diner across the street was fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.

Staff was friendly and was quick with a couple things we needed. Our suite was roomy and had great heaters for the chilly night. Lots of outlets. And lots of room for all our stuff.
