Apparently they’ve VERY recently rebranded as The Overland Hotel. Wasn’t sure I was in the right place at first, but turns out I was. Both rooms I saw were very clean. Heater didn’t work in the first room, but they got me moved to a room with working heat with no hassle. Bed was super comfy. Location is close to the train tracks, but the train rumble just kind of blended in with the heater’s fan noise. Breakfast selection is fairly limited - some muffins, bread for toast, pancake machine, a couple of dry cereal options with milk, then juice and coffee to drink. Coffee was decent - not amazing, not terrible. Probably would’ve gone across the street to the Galaxy Diner for a more substantial breakfast, but I think they were closed for Easter.

Although the hotel looks a bit run down from the outside, the inside was clean, comfortable, and a great value for the price. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout my stay. We came up for a Bands of America competition at the college. Check in was easy, staff was friendly, and the room was easy to find. Parking lot was small but we didn't have trouble parking close. Room was clean and exactly as pictured. The sliding barn style door was a bit weird on the bathroom but not an issue. There was plenty of hot water, could have used two more towels but there was shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a working hair dryer. Breakfast was good with decent variety. Overall a great stay and would definitely book again.
