Front desk staff were all friendly, great customer service, and helpful. We went during Covid Memorial Weekend, the atrium bar was not open. We did not go to the Wagon wheel restaurant and the gift shop appeared to be closed. Breakfast service and food were disappointing. My kids asked why we had to pay as most places offer free breakfast, with more options and better food. I thought they had a good point. My vegan daughter ate a dry plain bagel. I don't suppose Arizona is known for Vegan options. Outdoor pool and spa were dirty, run down and cold. Chairs around the pool, looked to be about 30 years old and not safe to sit on. Indoor spa was lovely. Not impressed with pool towels. However, for the proximity to the Grand Canyon, 1 mile and price of the rooms, it was well worth it.

Just the fact that they were open is appreciated. We had a romm booked with a neighboring hotel ut they shot down because of the virus. These guys were careful and kept things very clean, allowing them to provide the lodging we needed. It's too cold to camp on the rim of the Grand Canyon in March! Our second day we had a big snowstorm! Brrr. Thanks for staying open Plaza Hotel!
