I liked that it was right next to a truck stop and a mcdonald's. It was easy to get some food and to replace the ice in my ice chest just by walking over on foot. The room was not incredibly clean or well maintained. The important parts of the bathroom were clean, and I felt safe using it, which is more than I can say for some hotels I've stayed at. However, the most important part of the bedroom, the bed, made me feel disgusted and reluctant to use it. There were stains on the sheets, including a lipstick mark that made me doubt that the sheets had been washed at all. There was also a spider in the sheets which isn't a big deal but it just felt like the icing on the cake. The whole room just felt a bit dirty and uncomfortable, with the walls and floor looking un-cared-for. Maybe it's a mixture of a slight lack of cleaning and a larger need for internal renovation, but it made me regret staying there when I was trying to sleep.
