The room was fundamental, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but it was cool. The proximity to the Alhambra could not be better. The third floor terrace was peaceful and beautiful with an incredible view of the Alhambra. The host could not have been kinder or more helpful.

The staff were very pleasant, extremely helpful. A wonderful family run hotel The Pension is in an amazing position, very easy to walk up the street to the Alhambra or down into the old town. Cafe next door had great priced breakfasts. Amazing views from the garden terrace at top of the building, great place for relaxing after a busy day exploring.

Stayed for two days tourism and then three days work at a conference, and the Pension was perfect for both. Really central location, large comfortable room - it's understandably not the height of luxury, but for the (very low for its location) price it was brilliant. And the people running it were all really lovely, welcoming, and so helpful, including lending me a travel adaptor when I realised on a Sunday evening that I had failed to bring mine, and couldn't buy any until the shops opened on Monday. I had a really good stay - thank you!

The grandma owner was very warm and nice. Their dog is friendly too. The hotel is located extremely close to the Alhambra palace, about 10 minutes walk to the Gate of Justice.

This is an ideal spot for a solo traveler looking for one of the closest spots to stay close to the Alhambra, and it’s recommended to pack lightly as it’s on an incline. The older women and dog that run the place are very sweet and accommodating. The terrace offers a lovely view of the fortress any time of the day, and the garden is another nice lowkey hang. No A/C proved to be alright because the mornings tended to be chilly and the oscillating fan helped circulate cool air throughout my room. The WiFi is great. The bathtub is small enough for one person to soak in. Overall a great spot considering I was out and about a lot of the time.
