Lovely hotel, beautifully located and extremely calm, quiet and relaxing. Obviously perfectly situated for visiting the Alhambra. Easy to walk down the hill into town, and you can walk back or take a taxi. (They're easy to find and inexpensive.) In late March, the hotel cafe wasn't busy and felt strangely empty in the evenings, but this adds to the peacefulness. This isn't a 5 star hotel but the historical building and its location makes it unique.

We enjoyed our nights at the Parador Alhambra. The room was very nice and updated. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices. If we ever return to Granada we would definitely stay at the Parador again.

We slept very well in this Parador. We got a stylish, comfortable standard room on the 3rd floor for one night, and it was very pleasant. I removed one star because I did send a list of questions through the Hotels.com website and never received any reply. We finally had to call to get the necessary information. Once in the hotel, all the receptionists were very pleasant and answered all our questions. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and food (and drinks) were at a good level. Plenty of choice for breakfast and some vegetarian options at dinner.

Fabulous historical property in the middle of the Alhambra complex. It is absolutely worth the cost of staying here. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the hotel itself is an historic and interesting property. Hotel staff - especially Felix on reception - most helpful. It's an easy walk down into town (taxi back up!). Dinner was very good. The cafe gets crowded with drop-in clients from outside the hotel, the staff are a bit over-worked but it's a lovely spot to sit and take a break from the amazing Alhambra and Generalife.
