“Property was convenient for Stratford.
Bed very comfortable. A great selection of quality toiletries.
Owners were welcoming and advised us of recommended places to eat prior to our visit. As we were staying on a Saturday evening we were able to book a table in advance at what was a very popular venue.
Would definitely stay when in the area in the future.”

“Whilst the website does state that the bathroom is a shared bathroom, it is not obvious when booking.
The bathroom was not the cleanest, with empty shampoo bottles left, and open shower drain, and the drain was blocked and slow draining.
Otherwise, the bedroom was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the food, drink and service in the pub was great.”

“Our luxury double room was spacious, clean and kept clean by staff each day.
The only comment we would make was that the continental breakfast was not exciting and therefore somewhat disappointing for my wife who does not eat the cooked option.”

“Loved the position of the rooms, overlooking the hills. No stairs. Large facilities. Offload parking, no charge. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble Ate at the pub, good selection of pub food and drinks. Would have liked complimentary shower gel.”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery!
The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”
