“The Step House hotel was one of our favorite stays on our Ireland trip! We had a beautiful and spacious room that opened onto a terrace overlooking the gardens and mountains in the distance. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast in the 1808 Pub. The staff was wonderful and the extra touches like flowers and prosecco in the room made this the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and start off our trip! We enjoyed the small town of Borris and walking the Railway trail. We hope to...

“Nice room and very close to a bus stop that goes around the city! If you want breakfast, you can pay to add it on.”

“Host is very nice, tasty breakfast and we were able to have nice chats with other guests”

“The standard room was dark small and uncomfortable had 1 full bed and a twin it’s a a family room I don’t understand why we were assigned that room we are a couple luckily we don’t spend time in the room. Also the pictures on Expedia did not show that the standard room had this format. We complained but were told that is how all the standard rooms are. Pool area isn’t very nice small pool and there wasn’t a hot tub”

“Habitación familiar amplia para 4 personas. El baño limpio pero necesita arreglos: desconchones de pintura en el techo, mancha en la bañera, jabonera de la ducha suelta.”

“The room was a good size, clean, and comfortable. The Pub was full of great people and Matt was super friendly.”
