On check in, the staff were very apologetic about the room I’d be given. AC & TV not working as they should, however tips to operate TV given & spare heater was in room. Also found sliding door to bathroom did not close fully, spare blanket should have been cleaner & some milk satchels in fridge were out of date. Found out the hard way. The room had a thin door to adjacent room locked however I heard everything & my neighbour was sick. I too developed cold symptoms the next day so I placed a spare towel around at the door sill which was wide. The breakfast was ok but could be better laid out to avoid excessive queuing. Opening earlier than 8am & another toaster may make it quicker. Not a fan of the wooden spoons. Surely a set of stainless steel spoons & knives, ceramic bowls & plates can be washed in a dishwasher for the patrons. Lots of waste with throw away cutlery. It’s an older place with tight parking however my room had been modernised & was generally clean as was the bathroom. My bathroom’s vanity basin was missing the stainless plug for some reason though.

Room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Room was also a very good size, ensuite adequate with nice hot water perfect for showering especially after a long day's drive. Breakfast also included that provided everything required to start the day.
