We had a very nice two night stay at the Waterside Cabins. It was impeccably clean, very quiet, well equipped and super comfortable beds! Public transport into Gothenburg and out to the islands was very easy. We hopped about all over the place on buses, trams and ferries and had a really great stay. We would return! Thankyou! We had an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit, taking time to answer our questions and help us navigate local transport. A special surprise was being upgraded to a larger room, it was such a lovely gesture, especially as we were celebrating our 10-year anniversary (which the hotel didn’t know about!). This was a meaningful trip for us, as our first holiday together was in Malmö, Sweden, and now 10 years later, we chose to return to Sweden to visit Gothenburg. Thanks to the amazing hospitality at Waterfront Cabins, this trip felt like a perfect full-circle moment. Gothenburg itself is a beautiful city, but it was the kindness of the people that truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff, we will be sure to stay here again if we ever visit Gothenburg in the future!

Very nice Young lady in the reception. The room was ok, but the heating system very bad. All the heat went upstairs in the sleeping space and it was impossible to get the heat downstairs. After we used the dishwasher once, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom. Therefore er left earlier - the day before.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was nice, spacious, and clean. We also enjoyed the view of the water city from the loft bed. The hotel is not super central, but that's to be expected given how affordable it is. There's a nearby tram station, so getting to the city is easy.

I would definitely recommend staying here, our apartment was extremely comfortable with everything you would need. I wasn't sure if the area was a good pick to start with, however public transport is constant with only a few minutes wait at any time and only one stop before entering the main area of Gothenburg so ideally located.

Overall a nice stay. We stayed in a townhouse. Please bear in mind that the stairs are very steep. Pots could have done with a better clean but the shower was powerful and the bed was comfy.

I was feeling positive about this hotel because it had good reviews and the pictures looked gorgeous but sadly that wasn't reality. I arrived in the middle of the night due to flight delays, and the reception desk was hard to find and the experience felt odd. The staff were lovely, but the whole places was hard to find my way around... it looked nothing like the pictures - quite lackluster unfortunately. The room, once I found it, I hate to say, but it gave the atmosphere of a motel. I booked well in advance so was confused as to how it could be so dirty. The bedding was cheap and white and looked like it had been slept in already. The furniture was also very cheap and poorly kept - I have a feeling this company spent most of their money on advertising because I just cannot believe how different it was to the pictures. It was tiny, which I could have coped with, but there were large stains on 2/3 seats of the sofa which did not look appealing to sit on, the shower looked like someone pooped in it... there was black dirt around the inside of the windows when opened, so one could tell it had not been properly maintained for a very considerable amount of time. Thankfully I had a friend with me to help with checking in, but I was alone I don't know how I would have coped. And this was visiting in summer where you would expect things to be more beautiful. I had no choice but to stay there the first night, but I sadly could barely handle that. Nothing felt clean. ):

One is the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The only real issue was that needing an app just to unlock the hotel room door was completely moronic. Thankfully however, the hotel soon gave us a physical key, and all was well after that

Nous avons beaucoup aimé le concept. Endroit très tranquille. Cependant le stationnement est payant et je trouve qu’il est éloigné. Pas pratique lorsque qu’on a des paquets à transporter. Tout était super. Sauf que c’est l’hébergement le moins garnis en articles essentiels et en coutellerie. Dès qu’un repas est fait, il fallait laver notre vaisselle car nous n’en n’avions plus pour le repas suivant. Il n’y avait aucun article essentiel pour effectuer nos repas. Même pas une poêle pour se faire curé un œuf. Si ça n’aurait pas été de cela, j’aurais mis un 5 étoiles. J’ai apprécié la proximité de la ville.

Bäddsoffan som gud glömde.

Den bäddsoffan som jag sov i har nog ingen provat innan man plasserade den i rummet, den var fullständigt vedervärdig att sova i. Den typen av soffa behöver ni byta ut. Sen var det inte mer än 16 grade i rummet när vi kom till rummet så det var väldigt kallt, speciellt på golvet, kompisen var tvungen att ha på sig skor för att inte frysa.
