Rally nice place to stay, everything is close to there. The fact that is in the Main Street of Gothenburg makes a huge difference, you can walk to the main places. And the buffet breakfast was great too.

Very spacious room especially for Europe, my child loved the bunk bed to sleep in. Our only issue was the construction noise outside which the hotel has no control over and can happen at any hotel. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect room for 1 adult and 2 children. Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful. Spacious room with double bed and bunk bed hidden in the wall which was a completely new thing to me - excellent. Hotel has everything you need, I would stay again.

Breakfast was good. Room was fairly basic and small but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. Location was great for Ullevi and exploring the city. Lifts were inefficient at busy times. Our room was on the side, and we were kept awake two nights by a combination of the music from the rock bar across the street, motorbikes revving and some sort of car with loudspeakers that kept parking outside the hotel and blasting out music - the combination was akin to trying to sleep in a nightclub! I understand that some of this is out of the control of the hotel, but why the music and motorbikes were allowed to continue repeatedly (it was still going at 2am) is beyond me. I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel.

The bed was not comfortable, and my request for more pillows went unanswered. That was a shame. The tub in the bathroom was on a platform, and did not have any texture on the bottom to give your feet something to grip to. This made the ascent and descent rather perilous. Breakfast was fantastic. It was always busy, no matter what time we went, but the food was always full and fresh, and there was always a seat available. The maitre d' was a pleasure, and truly was the highlight of our stay at Scandic Rubinen.

The room is functional, quite small and has no view. The TV is dated and small; the operating system and remote need to be renewed. Bathroom: towels are small and standard quality. No body lotion, shower cap or other amenities. Breakfast: good selection and pleasant environment. Location is excellent.

The rooms here are a little tired and the towels are very thin and rough. Given the quality of other scandic hotels this was disappointing. The rooftop bar also only opens on the weekend so wasn't open at all for my stay.
