This hotel was so lovely and clean. It was in the best place for walking to everything and the staff were so kind. The breakfast was lovely and they even had a lockable room for our luggage before check in. Would highly recommend

Good place to stay

Very nice hotel. I would recommend it to anybody, with one caveat – if you’re traveling and staying in hotel during the hot summertime don’t count on air-conditioning – there is none. I have to admit that the breakfast there is outstanding. Otherwise -would stay there again.

Just above the goteborg train station so pretty much best location. Close to nearby streets. Basic rooms don't have a view and light in rooms is just lamps and no big bulbs. Breakfast good but less option of pure veg.

I would have to say - “the is the world class BREAKFAST I ever had” I couldn’t believe it. It was a good huge bigger > my room-size of breakfast display; in rush of catching my train, the server give me a to-go bag. Isra the front receptionist is unbelievable, she helped me to call my Stockholm hotel for my left behind passport. Melanie, the mgr is very nice and friendly to provide me with direction for train office (trying to return to Stockholm for my passport) Thank you Isra ! You r the BEST ! And, she deserves a pay-raise 💕

If you are coming into the city by either train or bus, the hotel's location cannot be beat as it is attached to Gothenburg's Central Station and they offer luggage storage if you arrive before check-in. My room was a bit smaller than other Hyatt Place hotels I have stayed in on the western side of the Atlantic, but this hotel is all about the convenience of its location as food, shops, pharmacy, and transportation are all found within Central Station although downtown Gothenburg is quite walkable. The desk staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. This isn't a 5-star luxury hotel, but it has everything the casual traveler needs. I would stay here again.
