Comfortable stay

Comfortable hotel in great location. Breakfast and evening meal were excellent and included in the price of the rooms. The room was comfortable and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful

Perfect location if you would like to stay in gothenburg for sightseeing and hiking. No worries about food as dinner and breakfast are really good. The service has been really good. We had a room with sauna which was a total treat and worth every penny. It was our third stay-we’ll come back soon.

We came to Gothenburg for an athletic event and we really enjoyed our stay at the Clarion Collection Mektagonen. One of our points for staying there was the kitchenette and that had breakfast and dinner included. That was a must. Breakfast was excellent!! I would have more options for dinner or foods with less seasoning but other than that an amazing hotel

We had an excellent stay at Mektagonen hotel. We were having a short family vacation in Gøteborg. Even the hotel is not located in the city centre, it is easy to reach by tram. The facilities are perfect for a family: the stay included breakfast and dinner, there was even offered Fika before dinner and free coffee/tea during the day. There is also a fitness centre and a sauna included for hotel guests. We have not been able to use these, but it looks good. I would absolutely recommend others to bring sports clothes (we forgot) to get the body trained even on holiday.

Exceeded expectations!

Definitely raised the bar for quality standards all around. The included breakfast was great, but they also threw in a free dinner and late afternoon snack! Onsite gym & laundry was very convenient as was proximity to the tram stop and grocery store to stock the fabulous kitchenette. Above all else was the professional, knowledgeable, and helpful staff!

Utmärkt hotell. Prisvärt. Hundvänligt, rent och tyst. Ingår frukost, eftermiddagsfika och kvällsmat (en varm rätt på kvällen finns, veckans meny finns i receptionen). Många rum har pentry (kökssaker finns ej) och kylskåp med frysfack. Stor matbutik i samma hus, jättebra. Man kan träna gratis på Nordic wellness i samma byggnad under vistelsen. Väldigt trevlig personal i receptionen. Kan varmt rekommendera hotellet.

Mekta gott!

Mycket bra vistelse! Stora rum, god frukost och bra sängar. Lättillgängligt och nära Liseberg och Universeum. Till stan kommer man lätt med spårvagn. I närheten finns parkeringsplatser på Göteborgs Parkering. Tyvärr också Aimo. De är dyra och har dålig service. Men framför allt hade Mektagonen middag inkluderat i priset! Okej, det var inte en trerätters att välja på men maten var basic och lite "buffeaktig". De erbjöd vegetariska alternativ för den som vill ha det. Mycket bra pris och säkert perfekt för en familj. Saknade lotion (efter dusch) på rummet. Det fanns till och med en liten kyl på rummet!
