I use this regularly in passing through. You can sometimes get a room in the Chateau for the price of the BW venue. The restaurants are very good. So is the bar.

Very good location just a few minutes from the Autoroute A26, but not close enough to be heard!! Very lovely location, the grounds are extensive and must take a lot of time to maintain, so the dry summer meant it looked a little below par. The room was satisfactory, although a leaking shower head, non-functioning TMV's on the sinks and mis-programmed TV remote, though not big issues in themselves, created a sense of a lack of attention to detail. Welcoming Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Checkout was a little confusing, as a sign in Reception said that it was back in the Main Hotel Reception, which was a short walk away, but it was a chance to see inside the fancy Hotel next door. The Brasserie in the courtyard between the 2 hotels looked very inviting, but we had other plans, so did not sample it on this visit. Its location makes it ideal for us, so now that we have tried it, we will stay again.

I love this hotel and have used it several times as a stop off before driving back to England via the Tunnel. The French Chateau is a perfect setting and I have seen many French groups using it for weddings and work meetings.

Another visit to this excellent hotel

We were grateful for an upgrade to the old part of the hotel complex. Unfortunately the gastronomic restaurant was closed except for breakfast, but we had a good meal at the Vasco. Very helpful staff and exceptional breakfast.

My only problem was late night access, let them know if you are delayed. Also, access to some of the outside rooms is via stairs, and if you have mobility issues, this can be tricky, ask ahead of time.

Given that we were transferred to the main Chateâu, the room was disappointing. Yes, there were robes and slippers but otherwise it was basic - no opportunity to make tea/coffee. The shower was unreliable in its control. Poorer experience than when staying several times in 'la Métairie' Very disappointed with our stay and may not return. 'La Distillerie' also less enjoyable than previously.

Noisy, cigar smoke room

We were in room 302 opposite the restaurant, music, noisy customers and the worst smell of cigar smoke. Do not stay here if you want a good night sleep after a long drive. No air conditioning, it was 34c, and you can’t open the windows due to cigar and cigarette smoke. The worst night sleep ever😢

Not again

The BW hotel itself was closed and had to check in at another hotel, 150 meters away. This is also where the breakfast is served the next morning, so had to walk back and forth through the rain twice. The room was in another, 3rd building. Also, I booked this hotel because it had a gym and although the pictures and description say otherwise, the lady at the reception (of the other hotel) said there is no gym at all. So another walk through the rain for nothing. So all toghether a bad experience for quite a big price

Je deconseille

Les equipements proposés dans l'annonce ne sont en réalité pas disponible ( salle de sport) . Sachant cela j'ai demandé, une semaine a l'avance l'annulation et remboursements de mon sejour . Tout simplement refuser . Ces methodes sont scandaleuse ! Car c'est l'hotel qui est en faute.
