From the moment we arrived I knew it was going to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were super lovely. The hotel is new and absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious. The complimentary waters were a nice touch. The Brit’s water station outside was nice. The only thing that I could suggest is that the parking cost is included with the room fee as it’s not a cheap place to stay.

Excellent hotel . New, clean, beautiful rooms. Great aesthetic. Lovely staff. Great restaurants. Lovely pool , though with the pool being between the two towers, it may not get all the sun exposure or get super warm, but that didn't stop the kids. Would stay again !

We had a wonderful stay at voco Gosford and couldn’t fault the experience. The room was exceptionally spacious, with soft, comfortable furnishings that created a very homely and relaxing feel. Little thoughtful touches really stood out — the inclusion of a hair straightener was such a pleasant surprise, and the toiletries were absolutely amazing, adding a real sense of luxury to the stay. The staff were genuinely lovely and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. A special mention to the team at Saltfire, who went above and beyond at breakfast. They made our daughter feel incredibly special on her birthday, and our son — who had just won his cricket carnival — was celebrated with a beautiful dessert at breakfast. Those thoughtful gestures truly made the stay extra special and memorable for our family. We left feeling well cared for and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend for families and anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and outstanding service.

All of the above plus the constant examples wonderful design - high quality materials in building and decor. Gosford, now that it has a venue like this, has finally become a City. Attention to detail in every area, quality fittings and decrations and that little extra like miniature kitchen.

The Voco at Gosford is a great hotel. Everything new and shiny. Great touch being met at the door by a conscierge. With new comes teething problems however and the disorganised nature of the food offer at Archie’s caused me not to go for the full 5* rating

There is a total lack of staff numbers in the hotel - we paid for breakfasts but there was no food, no plates & we had to clean tables ourselves to sit at. We could only eat toast & honey & coffees took 25 mins to arrive. Its not the staff fault just poor management not planning staff numbers. we couldn't even get drinks at pool bar due to no cocktails mixtures & took too long to even get some beers

Not enough Sun loungers by the pool (approximately 15 to service the hotel and apartment guests), there was plenty of space for more. Not enough staff on, one staff member at the pool bar on a Saturday afternoon so it was a 20 minute plus wait for a drink. Only one waiter on breakfast service and he was trying his best but it was not fair on him to have this pressure. Breakfast items were left empty and not replenished quickly enough.

The hotel is brand new and although they are really trying the whole experience was really underwhelming for the price. They are trying to be 5 star and charging $500 a night but it’s a bit of a miss. The location alone was just not worthy of the price. Pool was average. Spa and restaurant not open yet (despite that not being shared when we booked a month ago) and still charging full rates. On the day, I checked hotels.com again and the price was less than half of what I spent. The whole thing was pretty disappointing.
