“I’ve stayed here several times now when in Chelmsford for work. Lovely place, nice staff, rooms are fab and reasonably priced. A short drive to a park and ride into Chelmsford so perfect for me!
Will definitely stay again and recommend!”

“Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area”

“A lovely pub, with excellent staff. Food was very nice and room was nice, clean and confortable. The pub was lovely, open fire etc and had a nice atmosphere. I will certainly be staying again. ”
