I booked a stay at the Quality Inn hotel through Expedia, expecting a decent experience based on the recommendation and rate. Unfortunately, it was disappointing. I checked in around 1 AM, and the next morning, I wasn’t feeling well. I called the front desk and politely asked for a late checkout of just 30 extra minutes — until 11:30 AM instead of 11:00.
The front desk clerk, Brenda, was rude and dismissive, insisting I leave by 11 because “others were waiting for the room.” Yet when I walked out, I saw many rooms were clearly unoccupied — especially surprising for a Sunday, when hotels are usually less busy.
I wasn’t asking for much — just a little understanding and flexibility. Instead, I received poor customer service and no empathy. This was not a good recommendation by Expedia, and I would not stay here again or suggest it to others.
